StarUnie a.k.a. Whitney Pearson is new on the scene but nothing is stopping her from rising to the top. Besides from being from a strong musicial family, she is entirely self taught. StarUnie started as a music producer two years ago, making trap beats. As her experience progressed she had a strong connection with dubstep which led her to investigating sound design and making various forms of dubstep. Star has preformed at Flint Drop Fest, Backroads Tour, Bassberry Jam, Yellow Brick Road Tour, and Last Minute Vibes. In addition to preforming, Star is the curator for DJ Nights at the CSPS Hall. With only six months experience in DJing, only time will tell where her journey will lead.
